Great find in Hamilton! I was looking for an authentic restaurant for Korean food and this one surprised me. The unassuming exterior had me skeptical but it is much larger inside than you would expect. With both bbq option or regular meal options, you have a choice as to the type of dinner table you are seated. I went with a friend and we shared the ddokbokki and tang soo youk. As my main course, I had the jjangpong. Spicy and savoury, was definitely made in an uncompromising way. Only reason it is a 4 star is because service was a little slow with the restaurant only having 1 server when I went. Highly recommend this place if you want to try some Korean food that Koreans will actually eat and enjoy.
Food were delicious & piping hot from the kitchen. There was only 1 staff when we arrived so it was hard to call when we wanted to order. But it was reassuring that there were a lot of Koreans eating here as well. Specially loved the seaweed side dish too. Great find in the area
Best Korean food in Hamilton! I lived in South Korea for a year, so I have lots to compare it to. Everything is awesome, my girlfriend and I go there often. The Japanese food they have, especially the don datsu is exquisite. Very authentic and affordable food! The staff are exceptionally friendly! Just had their gamjatang for the first time last night, so delicious! If you haven't been, you need to go!
